As a member of the Food Working Group, you'll work on food security and sustainable agricultural practices. After educating over 6,000 students in Nigeria, Plant for the Planet has officially expanded to Cameroon! They have educated 400 students in just 2 days. This initiative aims to educate all young people in West Africa about climate change and effective mitigation strategies.
ISEC Uganda partnered with the United Nations and other prominent NGO's to host African Conference of Youth on Climate Change and UN Sustainable Development Goals. Due to visa complications, many African UN Youth Delegates cannot make it to conferences to represent their countries. This conference brought together those delegates to spread the African youth voice in the environmentalist movement.
